Western Tennessee Vacation Packages

Good: The room is very nice. Spacious rooms with granite counters and comfortable furniture. Excellent lighting except in the bedroom. Excellent free parking in a secure underground garage. Security was great all around. I would stay here again. Bad: Air didn’t get to the bedroom and it was hot, I even adjusted the vents but to no avail. Lighting in the bedroom was bad as well. During the day you had to open the blinds to see and at night you had to open the bathroom and the closet and turn on those lights, turn on the hall lights and turn on the vanity lights to see. Oh, and the parking garage, elevator and halls smelled light pot all of the time. ALL OF THE TIME. Also there was constantly at least one car just idling in the garage, including when I left at 5:00 am.

All good until Sunday eve when the desk called my room and asked why I was there? I was there because my trip, booked via Orbitz, had me there checking in Friday, checking out Monday am. Westin did not have that programmed and said I either had to leave or pay for another night. I showed staff my Orbitz itinerary and trip numbers on my phone. I was permitted to stay after such. Not certain yet if I was charged. If I am they will be hearing back from me.

So the area was beautiful right by the Mississippi River, they give you some wine when you check in and a port in the bedroom. The bedroom had a beautiful 4 post bed in it. But we woke up aearly in the morning to banging on the wall from the couple in the room next door. The police were called and woke up some of the other guests. We packed up and left and could not even eat the full gourmet breakfast but there was no apologies from the staff for the issue or anything to try and make up for the disturbance.

Food option just ok at night. Wouldn’t allow me to register my Hilton points because registered through Orbitz- ridiculous! Cookies were nice touch.
